The Homecoming party! After our fantastic
Wedding, awesome Honeymoon in New York, and returning
home for a few days to recover from it all, it was time
for the Scottish celebrations to begin!
Special thanks go to Anne and Watson Bayne for helping
organise the Stirling Boys Club venue for the Ceilidh.
It looked fantastic! Thanks also to Steve's parents for
organising the food (our second wedding cake in 14 days!)
So what happened at the Ceilidh then?
People arrived. Rachel's family and friends
arrived the day before from England, and many of us headed
up to Stirling Castle for the Children in Need party where
we got to see Travis. Quite a warm up gig for the Ceilidh!
The wedding video! Unedited, but it gave the Scottish
people especially a chance to see what happened on the
big day as many of them couldn't make it to England
for the wedding ceremony!The video played in the other
room throughout the night and there were plenty of food
and a licensed bar courtesy of O'Shaughnessy's Bar (thanks
Twiggy!)
Dancing!here I am dancing with Ruth, who came with her
husband to the Ceilidh on their wedding anniversary! Ceilidh
music was provided by the Trossachs Ceilidh Band
Juggling Break! Rach and I put on a tape of our favourite
songs, and I got out a box of juggling equipment (the venue
for the Ceilidh is also where Stirling
Juggling Project meets!)
Laurie finishes the night off with a good old spot of
Bagpiping! Cheers Laurie!
